Kludge’s Art 3.0
August 14, 2022Summer project (basically) complete.
How far have we come? Quite a bit.
I first bought my own domain and hosting in May 2016. Knew next to nothing about coding (outside of the few things you could do in DeviantArt comments), just used a site building website.

Just as basic as it gets, nothing special, but the information was there.
Onto September 2019, decided to start learning HTML/CSS on freeCodeCamp, then bought a new hosting so I had more control. I can’t recall which came first: the desire to learn or the hosting purchase. But I do know that I bought the new hosting on a Cyber Monday sale.

Things got pretty weird. I had only covered the basics of HTML/CSS and was pretty impatient. Didn’t feel like putting too much thought into anything, but I was learning and experimenting and managed to make… Something.
And now, it’s 2022. Have advanced my mind to actually think more about projects in general, and—while still not advanced in HTML/CSS—have at least managed to make something interesting and a bit more cohesive.

Still rough around the edges, and a few literal kludges here and there. But I am very pleased on seeing the progress nonetheless, and finally liking what I’ve made in regards to my website.
